The new book
For years, friends of Pat Nickson, aware of her extraordinary life of faith and achievement through the power of the Holy Spirit, encouraged Pat to write her autobiography. Its completion was interrupted by two things: Pat’s development of cancer and her insistence that caring for others, even when she was in great pain, was more important than sitting at a computer writing her book. Thus, when she was taken from us, the book had not been completed. However, her friends felt that it was such a powerful story, that the rest of us should have the opportunity to read it in Pat’s own words, even though it remains incomplete. They have also drawn on other material, such as what she wrote on looking forward to death and resurrection, to produce a moving and memorable book that is a great witness to us all.
